Sejak tadi ramai yang tanya apa dah jadi dengan mata aku. So rasanya baik aku share. Yela, dah kena kat diri sendiri baru beringat. Kalau tak kena, tak sedar lagi kot.

Aku sakit mata dah dekat setahun. Mata berair, merah and ada selaput yang menghalang penglihatan aku. Selaput tu cam tahi mata. Benda tu betul-betul menghalang sebab dekat mata hitam. So aku susah nak drive. Seksa.

Ramai nasihat jangan pakai contact lens tapi aku pakai jugak sebab aku rasa pakai cermin mata ganggu kerja aku yang lasak. Masa tu aku fikir, kalau cuci lens dengan bersih, jaga dengan baik, mata akan okay. Betul kan?

Rupanya tak. Seriously tak. Kau memang akan rasa lens ni best tapi dia boleh buat kau buta walaupun kau jaga elok. Ingat tu. Aku pakai lens lama dah. Macam-macam pernah jadi. Tertidur sampai lens hilang dalam mata pun pernah (dah keluar). Pernah jugak aku lupa aku dah bukak lens ke belum, aku usik mata aku. Emm malas cite pasal ni, ngeri. Hahaha.

Tapi biasalah, selagi kau rasa kau boleh melihat, selagi tu kau anggap benda ni kecik punya hal. Sampailah 2 3 bulan ni aku kerap mengadu sakit mata. Orang sekeliling pulak risau tengok mata aku merah.

Semalam dah tak tahan sangat sakit sebab rasa macam pedih, macam ada luka terbuka. Pedih tak yah cerita. So pagi tadi pergi klinik. Aku bagitahu yang dah 2 hari aku perasan ada 2 bintik putih dalam mata hitam (refer gambar kiri). Doktor kata, nasib baik aku kesan awal, it's corneal ulcer. Doktor bagitahu yang punca mata aku jadi ulcer sebab mata aku terlalu kering. Jadi contact lens tu susah nak ikut pergerakan mata aku. Tak smooth. So itu penyebab luka (cornea koyak). Fyi, cornea mata kita ni nipis je. Nipis sangat. Jadi bila koyak, faham-faham sendiri dia punya bahaya macam mana. Mata ni bukan macam anggota badan lain yang mudah untuk ganti.

Kebanyakkan bacaan aku kat google pasal corneal ulcer ni orang kata susah nak kesan sebab bintik putih tu muncul bila dah kritikal. Nasib aku baik, dapat kesan awal. Kalau tak, aku mungkin akan buta. Ini bukan kecik punya hal k.

So lepas treatment tadi, mata kiri yang luka kena tutup untuk sehari. Esok kena tengok sama ada luka tu dah tertutup atau tidak. Kalau tak, kena tambah lagi masa untuk rehatkan mata kiri.

Sekarang ni, aku tengah pujuk diri sendiri supaya tak pakai contact lens lagi. Hmm. Jagalah mata korang. Jangan ingat korang dah jaga lens elok-elok, mata tak sakit.
